Primary Care during COVID-19 Pandemic
Posted on 7 Oct 2020
During the COVID-19 Pandemic the surgery have still been working our normal hours to continue to provide a service to our patients.
We have had to make adaptions such as keeping the door locked but please be re-assured that we have been and will continue to work just as hard.
Our telephone lines to reception are still available from 8am should you have an enquiry or an Urgent need which is NON life threatening. Any Urgent or on the day issues are added to a telephone triage and you will be contacted by one of our clinicians. If it is felt necessary that you need to be seen face to face you may be offered an appointment.
If you have online services such as Patient Access or the NHS app you can order repeat prescriptions via this method. In addition to this we also have a dedicated email firstname.lastname@example.org
For Non-Urgent matters you can visit our website and complete an eConsult. These are received at the surgery and will seen by our clinicians. You will receive a response within 72 hours.
We are still providing the Childhood Immunisation Clinics, Mother and Baby 6-8 week checks, Smear appointments and NHS Health Checks (by invitation).
Over the coming weeks we are also providing dedicated flu vaccinations clinics our first one has already taken place.
